QR code based attendance tracking system built for İhlas Pazarlama. Staff clock in and out by scanning a QR code with their phone camera, with no app install or password, and each record is checked against the location.
Key features
The Challenge
İhlas Pazarlama needed to record when staff clock in and out. The system had to work without an app install, passwords or biometric data, and had to confirm that each record was actually made at the workplace.
Our Solution
We built a web-based, QR code attendance system. Staff clock in and out by scanning a QR code with their phone camera; they are identified by a device key linked to their phone beforehand, so they never have to log in. Each record is checked against the location's geofence, with the GPS error margin taken into account, and no fingerprints, face images, IMEI or MAC addresses are collected. Records cannot be changed, and login attempts on the admin-only panel are written to an audit log with their IP address.
